Children and Youth Ministries
In addition to Sunday School for all ages, we have Children's Fellowship and Youth Fellowship.
Children's Fellowship for children in 4K through 5th grade meets on Tuesday nights from 6:00 to 7:30 in the Fellowship Hall. Supper, a lesson or service, and free play time are included. A nursery is NOT provided. Check the church calendar for any schedule changes.
Also, throughout the year, children's special events are planned. These include an Easter Egg Hunt, Vacation Bible School, Water Day, Trunk-R-Treat, and a Birthday Party for Jesus.
Youth Fellowship for youth in 6th grade through 12th grade meets on Sunday nights from 5:00 to 6:30 in Wesley Hall--the Gym Building. Supper, lessons, mission opportunities and fellowship are included. Additionally, several trips are planned throughout the year. Watch the church calendar for schedule changes and special events. Keeping Our Children & Youth Safe
Safe Sanctuary
EFUMC has adopted a Safe Sanctuary Policy that creates a community of faith where children and adults can grow safe and strong. We ensure safety by having two adults in all rooms where children and youth gather. We also require background checks for adults who have regular interactions with our children and youth. Media Release
We use our website and social media to let others know the many good things happening at EFUMC. Pictures of children and youth are posted only if parents have given permission with a Children/Youth Media Permission Form. Pictures of minors will not have names associate with them.
